What personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, and the rights you have under applicable Indian law.
Last updated: 7 September 2026
JoinNEarn Team (“JoinNEarn”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) operates this website to enrol members, collect user data required to run membership accounts, and collect payments through a third-party payment gateway. This Privacy Policy explains what personal data we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, and the rights you have under applicable Indian law, including the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 and the Information Technology Act, 2000.
1. Who we are
JoinNEarn is a membership network operated in India. This website is used to present the 13-rank prize path, collect enquiries, create or access member accounts, and receive enrolment and related payments through an integrated payment gateway.
Contact: info@joinnearn.com · JoinNEarn Team, India.
2. Data we collect
Identity and contact
- Full name, phone number, email address, postal address (when provided)
- Member ID, username, and login credentials (stored in hashed or otherwise protected form where we hold them)
- Messages you send through the contact form, email, or phone
Membership and activity
- Enrolment date, rank, points counts, prize eligibility, and draw participation
- Support tickets and records of how we responded
Know-your-customer (when required)
If a payment partner, bank, or law requires identity checks, we may collect government ID details, date of birth, photographs, or other KYC documents. We collect only what is needed to complete that check.
Technical data
- IP address, browser type, device type, pages visited, referring URL, and timestamps
- Approximate location derived from IP, used for security and fraud review
3. Payment data
Payments on this website are processed by a third-party payment gateway. We do not store full card numbers, CVV, UPI PINs, or net-banking passwords on our servers.
- We receive payment status, amount, currency (INR unless stated otherwise), transaction ID, order ID, date/time, and method (card, UPI, net banking, wallet, or other methods offered by the gateway).
- The gateway may collect billing details and payment instrument data under its own privacy policy and PCI-DSS obligations.
- Failed, pending, refunded, and chargeback statuses are stored so we can match your account and issue a refund where due.
By paying on this site you authorise us and the gateway to process the transaction, confirm settlement, and share the minimum data needed to prevent fraud and complete accounting.
4. How we use data
- Create and manage your membership, login, ranks, and prize records
- Collect enrolment and other authorised payments and issue receipts or GST invoices where applicable
- Verify payments, prevent fraud, and resolve failed or duplicate charges
- Respond to support, refund, and privacy requests
- Send transactional notices (payment success/failure, rank updates, draw results) by SMS, email, or WhatsApp when you have given a reachable number or address
- Improve site security, performance, and content
- Meet tax, accounting, audit, and legal duties in India
We do not sell personal data. We do not use payment data for unrelated advertising.
5. Legal basis
We process personal data because one or more of the following applies:
- You give consent (for example, submitting a form or ticking a payment confirmation)
- The processing is needed to perform a contract with you (membership, payment, prize fulfilment)
- We have a legitimate operational need that does not override your rights (security, fraud prevention, site analytics)
- We must comply with law (tax records, lawful requests from authorities)
6. Sharing and processors
We share data only with:
- Payment gateway, acquiring bank, and settlement partners needed to complete or refund a payment
- Hosting, email, SMS, and IT vendors who process data on our instructions
- Professional advisers (accountants, auditors, lawyers) under confidentiality
- Regulators, courts, or law-enforcement when a valid legal request requires it
Each processor is expected to protect data and use it only for the service we have engaged. Payment partners publish their own policies; please read those before you pay.
7. Storage, retention, and security
Data is stored on systems in India or, where a vendor uses overseas infrastructure, under contractual safeguards. We keep membership and payment records for as long as the account is active and thereafter as required for tax, dispute, and legal retention (typically up to eight years for financial records, or longer if a dispute is open).
We use access controls, encrypted transport (HTTPS), hashed passwords where we store them, and gateway-hosted checkout so card data does not pass through our forms. No method is perfectly secure; you should keep your login private and tell us at once if you suspect misuse.
8. Cookies and logs
The site may use essential cookies or local storage for login session, security, and form state. Server logs record visits for security and diagnostics. You can block non-essential cookies in your browser; essential cookies may be required for login and payment return URLs to work.
9. Your rights
Subject to law, you may:
- Ask whether we hold data about you and request a copy
- Ask us to correct inaccurate data
- Withdraw consent where processing is consent-based (this does not undo payments already completed)
- Ask for erasure or restriction where the law allows (we may retain records we must keep for tax or disputes)
- Nominate a person to exercise rights on your behalf if the DPDP Act so provides
Write to info@joinnearn.com with “Privacy request” in the subject. We may need to verify your identity before we act.
10. Children
Membership and payments are intended for persons who can form a contract under Indian law (18 years or older). We do not knowingly collect data from children. If you believe a minor has paid or registered, contact us and we will delete or restrict the data as the law requires.
11. Grievance officer
For complaints about personal data, contact our grievance officer at info@joinnearn.com with the subject “Grievance officer – privacy”. We aim to acknowledge within 48 working hours and resolve within the period required by applicable rules. You may also approach the Data Protection Board of India or other competent authority once those channels apply to you.
12. Updates
We may update this policy when our services, payment partners, or the law change. The “Last updated” date at the top will change. Continued use of the site after an update means you have read the revised policy.
